Where is Shipyards Live taking place and how do I get there?

Shipyards Live takes place at The Shipyards in North Vancouver.

 

The location is easily accessible by public transit and is just a 15 minute ride on the Seabus from downtown Vancouver, just steps away from Lonsdale Quay Terminal.

 

If you’d like to get here on two wheels, LIME bike share is available in the area, and Reckless Bikes also provides rentals with a storefront just steps away from all the action.

What can I expect at Shipyards Live?

Shipyards Live is a new event that will feature live entertainment, licensed beverage garden, and a select few local vendors and food trucks with a wide variety of food offerings available to try out.

 

There is a splash park located in The Shipyards Commons for kids of all ages and tons of fantastic local restaurants and shops in the area for some retail therapy. Click here for a full list of local businesses.

What time does Shipyards Live start?

Shipyards Live will run 3pm-10pm on Fridays, 12pm-10pm on Saturdays.

Is Shipyards Live family friendly?

Absolutely! There’s a splash park and tons of other fun activities for kids of all ages. You can even bring the little ones into our licensed patio area (so long as you are an adult and accompanying them).

What public health precautions are you taking?

The organizers of Shipyards Live have been working diligently with Vancouver Coastal Health, WorkSafeBC and a number of industry associations in order to bring North Vancouver a world class event while adhering to all current health best practices.

 

As you now know, best practices and health protocols can change quite rapidly and we continue to work with those governing bodies to update our site safety plan accordingly any time new information is presented.

Is there parking available?

We recommend taking public transit or other more sustainable transit options, as parking is limited. But pay parking is available underground at The Shipyards Commons.

Can I bring my own food and drinks to Shipyards Live?

We do not allow outside drinks into the licensed beverage garden (aside from sealed bottled water). But you can definitely bring in some food from one of the wonderful food trucks or local restaurants and have a beverage with us.

Are there washrooms available?

Public washrooms are located in The Shipyards Commons, next to the splash park.

Do you recommend any local hotels?

We are working with the Seaside Hotel to offer a special rate for the duration Shipyards Live. The Seaside Hotel is located steps away from all the action of Shipyards Live, and a plethora of fantastic restaurants and shopping in the area.

Does this event have anything to do with the Shipyards Night Market?

No, we have no association with the Shipyards Night Market.

 

Shipyards Live is a completely new event coming to The Shipyards in the summer of 2021 that will feature live music, food trucks, licensed beer garden, and a very select few local artisan vendors.
